Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

I found out this week that my MY14 Overland CRD is heading overseas to be reborn. It was purchased for $13k.

To me, allowing our Statutory Write-Offs to be exported for rebirth is pretty poor...

Re: Off Road 18"s

That'd be a world of pain. You'd end up with tyre contact at normal suspension heights unless you had a significant, fixed, lift installed.

Re: 2014 WK2 - Nav not pronouncing full street names

I'm not sure... just chucking it out there... but there might be a setting for "long" versus "short" announcements? I get confused with our other car. Anyway, if available, maybe set it to the...

Re: West Aussie 2014 Overland CRD Owner

Yeah and beating the crap out of the U-Connect doesn't improve its behaviour either!

Give up on VR to Nav... it doesn't work for MY14s. Maybe it's time we "did a Bluey"?

Mate for a few bucks get financial here at Jeep Garage so you can use the site download. The Chrysler site is an abortion of incompatibilities... you need to hold your tongue right to get it to work....

Re: 2014 WK2 - Nav not pronouncing full street names

I'd try a system reboot, then check your software is up to date... not that this has been a problem with earlier versions as far as I know.

A basic reboot can be achieved by holding the round...

Re: West Aussie 2014 Overland CRD Owner

No official fix for the VR to Nav feature, which is a bit disappointing. The good news is that there is an economical, software based solution hot off the press. Check out :

Not wanting to get off track or turn this into the "Caravanner's Forum", but I'm not sure I get your example Snuke. Are those file properties for files of very similar captured imagery?

Your car seems to have a lot of forward rake. I'm assuming non-Quadralift? Is the bar pulling the front down or have you fitted taller coils in the rear? Or am I seeing things?

Interesting about the internal boot switch Snuke. I've used the one on my last car several times. I haven't yet tried it on the new one.

I think having the key fob with you is the issue.
