Re: Just ordered a LTD. Now I'm worried...

I have a very early build (Feb. 2013) 2014 Overland and have had no issues whatsoever. By far the best vehicle I have ever owned.:)

Re: New tsb for 8speed with 5.7

I also feel that the 1-2 upshifts were a bit smoother before but overall I am happy with the update.

Re: New tsb for 8speed with 5.7

I agree. Since I had the update done, I noticed the more pronounced humming sound as well. Other than that I am very happy.

Re: Anyone else have problem with the forteras on 20's?

I had the same vibration issue on my 2011 Limited and it started right around 20k miles. Switched them out for a new set of Forteras and had the exact same issue at about 23k miles. Needless to say...

Re: Buyiing a Jeep today, Opinions?

I agree. I bought my 2014 Overland off the lot and it was an early (Feb) build and I have had no issues whatsoever. My 2011 Limited was a late build but had a few issues that needed to be corrected....

Re: Rear wiper

Thanks for the replies. Since I'm not very mechanically oriented I'll just have the dealer take care of it.

Rear wiper

When not in use, my rear wiper on my 2014 Overland does not rest in the proper vertical position. Instead of being in the three o'clock position when not in use it rests in the two o'clock position....

Re: 2013 Explorer SPORT vs. 2014 Summit with Hemi

I also looked a the Explorer sport and was very impressed. The EcoBoost engine rocks and it is a very sharp vehicle but in the end the GC was just a better overall vehicle that provided a better...

Re: Just got 2014 JGC Overland...

Beautiful ride! That is a fantastic color combo. I am debating on the getting the lt. frost interior on my '14 as well but that lighter carpeting is worrisome, especially in the winter. Wonder why...

Re: Is tan/brown an undesirable interior choice?

I see dealer pictures of the Overland frost interior where the carpet is already dirty. You would think they be a little more careful. They should just leave the factory plastic on the floors as...

Re: What grade of fuel do you use?

I run either Mobil or Kwik Trip (Wisconsin) 89. Seems to run smoothest on Kwik Trip though. I really question whether or not you are truly getting 89 octane at certain stations.

Re: New windshield for overland ...question.

It does say MOPAR on the glass and the tech let me take a look at the glass before he installed it so I made sure that it was true OEM.

Same experience here with Wickstrom. A total bunch of assholes. I ended up buying from Crystal Lake Jeep. Really good people over there and ended up getting a great deal.

Re: Would you go with Fortera's again?

Thanks everyone for your input. I checked Discount Tire and they have the Yokohama Parada, Nitto NT420 and the Kumho Solus KL21 all for around $200. Any thoughts on these choices?

Re: Would you go with Fortera's again?

I'm doing mostly highway driving and the Fortera's seem ok but wanted to see if there are better options in the same price range (< $200 ea.)

Re: Premium nappa seats in a Overland Vs Limited

The leather in the Limited with the Lux package is exactly the same as the Overland leather. Only difference is that the Limited does not have the piping on the seats.

Thanks to all for your feedback. I will probably go with the DA just because I'm curious as to how much easier it will be to use and if the results are any better.
