Re: Uconnect team introduces all-new features and services for 2016 vehicles

Basically the only reason I get Nav on a car is to make music selection easier from an external device. And it came on the Summit I bought, so yay. I hardly ever use the car's nav system and with...

Re: In channel window vent shades

I installed these on my Dad's F150 a few years back and the rear window shade on the Jeep is the same style as his; the only thing holding the shade up there is double sided tape in the window track....

Re: Limiting/Eliminating glare from interior trim

I hate chrome on the interior of cars. The jeep has way too much. Also, the giant chrome mirrors can reflect light in your eyes as well.

The only solution I have is wrapping the trim with...

Re: 2013 Laredo: The New York City build

Looking good man. Do you have a closeup of the modded headlights?

justforjeeps.com has a bunch of the SRT bumper parts for your model and the newer one to match your headlights if you've...

Re: 2015 Summit 5.7L Black Wheel Options

It's not the Summit model that gives you the big brakes, it's the fact that you have a V8. So they are wrong. Any wheel made for the 14+ GC should fit every model. Only exception is the SRT which...

Re: Sun Roof Pop Up Bug Screen ??

I also noticed this weekend that the structure around the mesh is different on my friend's '15 from my '14. Either that or it's the difference between my double sunroof and his small sunroof. His...

Re: just picked up my 2015 GC SRT

That's kind of odd, the slots in those pictures aren't really even on the braking surface. Nor are they uniform angles.

The SRT site doesn't mention slotted rotors on Jeep brakes, but it does...

Re: Are lowering Springs Ghetto?

Wow, all this coming from a guy with a lowered SUV with 22's and limo tint

I had a BMW for a while too. I'd say most guys on the forums had lowering springs without swapping out...

Re: Overland or Summit??

I was between the two too. I like the look of the Summit much better, closer to the look of the SRT in my eyes. For a vehicle that will be driven on the street 99% of the time, I didn't need the...

Re: Scratches on Steering wheel

My 04 Overland had a TON of scratches in it when I bought it a couple years ago. I'm guessing the woman that drove it had a crazy diamond-filled wedding band with lots of prongs. There was also a...

Stock on a Summit. Bumpers, flares, side skirts and exhaust are all different than the rest of the WK2 line.

Re: Best Way 2 Lower Summit's QL?

They might do it for you, but say goodbye to the warranty on your quadralift. It's not technically 'designed' to drive around at an inch below ride height. On the highway, you are basically driving...

I've heard of maybe one person lowering it with the dealer tuner. Good luck convincing them to do that.

Re: --- New Ride, New Wheels ---

I'm guessing since it can be scratched fairly easily, hitting it with something like steel wool would brush it pretty nicely.

I've been considering trying to get the lower...

Re: Lowering / Levelling QL

Yes, just do the opposite of what people are doing to lower the front. Raising it to level out the Jeep most likely won't cause any issues unless you are rolling around in OR2 all the time. AAR...

Re: WK2 rear brake turn LED's installed. VLED V3 Triton with pics

I don't quite get Jeep's obsession with crappy brake lights. I'd think with the lawsuit of WJ's catching fire after getting rear-ended, they'd put some insanely bright lights back there. My WJ...

Re: White SRT w/Gold wheels

I like the white/gold look, but I think it'll only look good with a brushed type gold finish and chrome/polished lips. Not stock wheels painted gold.

Re: Deal or no deal on remaining 2014 overland

Re: A picture of a Jeep in the Dash( what year)

Probably because of your location. If you change the select-terrain dial to something other than auto, the dash shows a jeep driving through the selected media (snow, sand, mud, rocks).

I always...

Re: Brembo Brakes

Bigger brakes will not wear out your bearings faster. Wider, heavier wheels with less backspacing might.

Re: 2015 New Overland Purchase

I hope you have lightweight bikes. I got tired of putting my 17 lb road bike on top of my WRX, so I can't imagine lugging a heavy mtn bike or cruiser up on top of an SUV.

I switched to a hitch...

Re: Bumper rebuild Grand Cherokee to SRT

Re: 2015 Range Rover VS Grand Cherokee (Overland/Summit)

Re: 2015 GC - Covert to duel exhaust?

A friend of mine who bought a '15 was not happy about the single exhaust either. I'd guess the '14 V6 catback would fit just fine. And as far as the bumper, I can't find a great picture of the Jeep...
