Re: From Level To Lift

O.K. than I probably won't have that problem with just the level since I have the factory hitch. So it's good to know you took a long hwy trip with family and all was good. So the lift doesn't...

Re: 14 Limited on 20"

hahaha, Got it! Yep the noise from the wife is worse than than any noise from an AT tire. That's one reason I'm asking so many questions.

So was the noise the main objection with the Zeons noise, look or both?

Re: Pic Request - DuraTrac 275/65-18 + RRO Leveling Kit

Looks really good, much better IMO with the level. Do you install the level yourself or did a shop do it?

Re: 14 Limited on 20"

Looks good! Jersey you ended with the same size as the Cooper's you had right? How do the Michelin's compare? Is the noise the difference? I know the specs are the same as the Zeons but are they...

Re: Dealer says no one wants off road package

I pretty much did the same thing, but wanted the dealer to install the chrome hooks, but of course they could only do black. Turns out I like the black, I also have a black jeep so it's very subtle...

Re: From Level To Lift

CC couple of things.

1. Yes it looks awesome!

2. Before with just the level did you have any rubbing issues off-road?

3. The rear sagged even with the load leveling suspension in rear?

Bart Man, I know its not the purpose of the thread, but I noticed your sig says' 1.5" level.' Did you modify the 1.75" RRO one?

Re: Dealer says no one wants off road package

Thanks, my main concern was just playing in the mud, hills, beach etc and then having to take the GC on a long trip and risk a flat? As opposed to have a second sit of tires/rims and use those to...

Re: Dealer says no one wants off road package

Speaking of options, for those that off road do most of you use dedicated tires or do you generally go off road and then possibly take a long trip somewhere on the same tires. Reason I ask is I...

Re: Dealer says no one wants off road package

Maybe it's just me but besides the off-road, when it snows and rains I feel much better in my GC then I ever did in the mini-van I once owned.

Re: Dealer says no one wants off road package

If you get the tow package then you also get the "full-size" spare which of course also gives you a tow point in the rear. So all you need to add is the skid plates.

I found the same thing in New York. BTW if you think that's bad, go to the south its sometimes hard to find 4WD GCs.

Re: "Willis" Our 2014 Limited Eco Diesel 4x4

Re: Pic Request - DuraTrac 275/65-18 + RRO Leveling Kit

Congrats, look forward to seeing the pics. I think you made the right move. You get some more height, rubber, speedo isn't off as much and they probably give you some space for flex.

Re: Pic Request - DuraTrac 275/65-18 + RRO Leveling Kit

I would like to see this too, if anyone has one with 265/65/18 and coil suspension. I do think the 275s would be too tight, concerning the OD is larger than the 275/55/20 which is pretty tight.

265/65/18 Why so few?

Probably missing something here, but why are there so few choice for the 265/65/18 tire size?

Seems like a good size for the GC, some extra rubber and lift with little or no modification needed.

Re: Eibach Allterrain Lift Kit WK2

Nah that analogy doesn't work at all IMO. Your making it too black and white. The lift and tire types will and can make a stock GC more capable off road and in winter, etc. so the talk is valid. ...

Re: Eibach Allterrain Lift Kit WK2

So all 20" are street tires. Here's a street jeep with stock size 20". I'm sure with the lift and larger tire yo u could do that much more.
