Re: WK 2 is a little scary with all the problems especially SRT

I've not needed a loaner since buying a 2011 WK2 in Oct 2010. My dealer has shitty coffee and commercial grade neutral colored carpet, but the oil changes are fast.

The only towing necessary is...

Re: Welp...RWD Grand Cherokee's are basically useless off road

^DA, you can have it all. My WK2 4x4 is as flawless on date night in the city, as it is in deep snow at 11k' feet elevation, wheeling moderately aggressive OR trails, or towing a heavy load.

Re: Welp...RWD Grand Cherokee's are basically useless off road

OP, don't take yoself so seriously, most of it is just good natured ribbing. The WK2 has always been blamed for being a bit soft by the offroad crowd, we're all just driving mall crawlers:

Re: Do All Chrysler/Jeep Dealerships in Massachusetts Suck?

To answer the question: possibly.

Odd that any of the dealers aren't motivated to perform these services, even if they haven't done so previously. They get paid either way.

Do you have a case...

Re: First Impression 2014 BMW X5

Soooo, the story ends well, at least for Joe.

It wasn't his vehicle, someone just parked a Toyota Highlander (no offense) in his stall that day.

Joe's taste in vehicles is vindicated, plus he...

The SRT8 hood vents did not allow use of a Volant CAI, so I switched back to the Bwoody Ram Air, fits fine. Not sure about stock intake, but looks like it may work fine.

Re: 2012 SRT8 or 2014 Overland?

^This

IMO, the SRT difference compared to Overland is significantly greater than '12 to '14 tweaks.

If you are replacing both an S4 and JGC and not seeking to go OR, then go with the SRT.

Re: Anybody using Royal Purple in there v6 engines??

Haven't switched yet in the JGC, but if you can find proper RP oil spec for your Pentastar, I'd go for it. ...

Re: We are getting ripped off

This is a total SWAG, but it might have to do with CAFE fleet mileage requirements, possibly a way to moderate the 5.7L usage in the heaviest/lowest MPG vehicle.
