Re: new lockpick for the 8,4 uconnect, 99% software

I'm running the Bronze. The only weird thing I'm noticing is that after leaving reverse for drive, I get a blue screen for about two seconds and then things return to normal.

Re: new lockpick for the 8,4 uconnect, 99% software

Guess I need to request the rollback from Customtronix as my dealer wants to update my radio every time I go in and they don't care that the software on it is newer than what they are updating with.

Re: new lockpick for the 8,4 uconnect, 99% software

Is the rollback different from the uninstall option that comes with the software?

Re: Adaptive cruse control cuts out intermitintly

Not for all of us. I have had it happen several times and my trim piece is there and solid. Sometimes I get the sensor needs cleaning; sometimes I get ACC and FCW are disabled - Service the ACC and...

Interestingly enough, after installing the Customtronix Lockpick Bronze, the "Find Favorites" command now works.

Re: Using voice to navigate to a favorite destination.

The Travelink Favorites seem to be the travelink apps I've used recently. I'm taking it in for an oil change next week before I leave on a trip so I will mention it then.

I'm waiting on the...

Re: Using voice to navigate to a favorite destination.

I've played around with this a bit more today and when I say "Nav Favorites" it takes me to the Travel Link Favorites. If I say "Nav to Favorites" it asks me if I want to make a phone call. If I say...

Re: new lockpick for the 8,4 uconnect, 99% software

I'm in, too, though I just want the passenger to have the ability to access the screen while the vehicle is in motion. Hope we get this rolling soon as I'm taking a trip at the end of the month.

Re: Uconnect update

I believe there were some of the early 2014 builds that had to be updated by the dealer, but I was hearing that about the WK2's, not the KL's.

Re: Rear Flipper Glass

I miss it because when my canoe is mounted on the roof, I can't open the rear deck. The flipper glass on my previous vehicles allowed me to access the cargo area. Progress isn't always an improvement.

Not this one; it's made of Royalex. I folded an aluminum one on a river in southern Kentucky about 35 years ago though.
