Re: Sloshing sound from under the car

Just drained the Drivers side plug and it unloaded about 2 gallons of water. Thanks for the pics on where to find it! It's the first time I noticed the sloshing because the Jeep is usually, and...

Re: 430N and iPod resolution

I agree Chuck- I bit the bullet and decided to just load the HDD full up. The folder system makes it easy to find songs, especially from loading them out of iTunes. I really like the random feature...

Re: 430N and iPod resolution

I think the sound of .m4a files are clearer and 'brighter' vs. .mp3 files I've downloaded. Granted, the majority of these files are from back in the ol' Napster days, so a CD ripped from my...

Re: 430N and iPod resolution

Until the two devices can "talk" to each other (430N / Iphone 3GS) correctly via USB, I plan on using the HDD for now. Finished loading up around 25GB worth of tunes, that took ALL DAY to do. For...

Re: 430N and iPod resolution

Yes, I did a software update and complete reload of all 5K songs. Nothing works. I'm thinking the USB "30 pin" can't pull audio off a 2004 iPod... I remember using iTrip back then also. So, I'm...

Looks great! I agree with the blinding headlamp indicator too... Might have to find some x-ray film.

Re: 430N and iPod resolution

Just tried my 60GB iPod in the center USB and it did NOT register. Didn't charge, nada nothing. Oh well- frustrating as hell. I know the iPhone works, but I'd have to disable the BT before using...

Re: 430N and iPod resolution

Yeah, not a big fan of the HDD. The first CD I loaded screwed up the song list and took forever to load. Thinking my 60GB in the console will work just fine for me, and I don't hear a difference in...

Smile Re: 430N and iPod resolution

Here's what I figured out tonight... iPhone needs to be turned into a regular iPod (i.e. airplane mode or bluetooth disabled) then plugged in, then the 430N reads it just fine. The voice commands...

Re: 430N and iPod resolution

Thanks for checking Cperez! This changes my iPhone use as a music player option. Luckily I have an old 60GB iPod I can now use for the center console, and leave the bluetooth / uConnect the way it...

Re: 430N and iPod resolution

[QUOTE=Cperez;333208]I actually chose the uConnect option at that step and it started playing back. I had already disabled BT so I know it was playing over the cable. My guess is that choosing...

Re: 430N and iPod resolution

JeepLaw- Yes, I am able to BT the iPhone 3GS w/Pandora (black screen/locked) but the sound quality isn't perfect. I am hoping to utilize the USB center console more, now that Apple software and...

Re: 430N and iPod resolution

Well, for the first time I did get the iPhone 3GS to load up via the center console USB without getting an "error occurred" message. Sweet! Only thing is there is no sound. I am guessing I have to...

Drove with the "Snow" drive setting today for the first time.... all is well ! Super smooth, and the 20's responded better than I thought they would. Happy camper in Mass.

Re: Financing rates?

I had a few options.... AAA rate was 2.99 for 60 mo. USAA got it down to 2.79 for 60. The dealer found me a 2.34% rate for 60, which I was happy with =)

Re: Pedal Dress Up Kit and Splash Guards

+1

The hairdryer definitely made the difference in getting the brake pedal going. Took about 45 mins of "patience" to get the last corner to go. They look sweet though- well worth the effort.

Re: Biggest Disappointment

I agree with DJWeaver:
