Thing is I'm currently a college student and I'm on a very tight budget with the lift, new wheels/tires/spacers and installation together. And my complex really isn't suitable for any tire changing...

Looks sick!! Very clean and in my opinion factory look. You should think about painting your calipers yellow to match te rear ome shocks... Thinking about doing this same setup on my black wk as well.

Been thinking about doing the ome lift on my '08 wk. Wondering exactly what I need to purchase to get the 2.25" lift. Does it call for new springs? Shocks? I see RRO offers their own suspension...

Thanks for the info and you were right I actually did find it after some searching. I'm deciding to go with 1.5" spidertrax spacers and a buddys going to help me with the mod.

Removed the interior trunk panel and everything and managed to fix the socket and install my leds :)

And yea they're REALLLLLY bright!!

Yes it unlocks and locks fine. I really don't understand what it is. I think it may be an after-market alarm system installed into the car by the owner before me.

So by removing the entire plastic panel on the inside I should be able to see the bolts holding the brow in place right? And removing the brow will let me easily replace the bulbs and fix the socket?

I removed the back panel and saw that there was this metal plate blocking off the area the brow is supposed to be. Maybe I didn't look correctly but it looked like it was blocked off

So the other day I was trying to replace my stock license plate bulbs with led ones I ordered. I thought to remove the old bulbs you had to twist the little socket thing then pull the bulbs out.

I pulled the old bulbs out and when I tried to install the leds the socket went right into the housing. Now it stuck somewhere in there and I have no idea what to...

For some reason everytime I turn off the car, whether or not the key is still in the ignition and I'm sitting in the car or if its removed and I'm outside the car, the alarm always seems to arm...
