thanks. I will try that. I don't get any high rpm issues that are usually associated with vacuum leaks

I'm also getting this weird intermittent ESP thing - it kicks in when I go over speed bumps...

I recently had a PCM flash to get rid of the infamous jerkiness caused by the 3rd gear partial lockup around 40mph and at the same time the dealership told me they cleaned the throttle...

Hmmm, that's the thing. 3 days a week I have a 120 mile round trip to a client site and over here the highway speed limit is 85mph, so if lifting affects comfort and drivability, perhaps it ain't...

That's exactly what I did too. Cost me $75 for a new piece to be stitched in. After 3 weeks I've had no sensor issues at all. Just make sure the plugs are firmly reconnected.
