RockAuto Discount Code

Code is 1552865512720868 and is good for 5% off. Not much, but it's better than nothing.

It's valid until August 18th, 2013.

Re: 2001 WJ Knocking sound at the rear when going over mild bumps

You mentioned having Addco sway bars. I just added a rear one and had a knock immediately after I installed it. It turned out that the ends of the bar were hitting the sleeve inside the bushing of...

Re: Just ordered Addco RSB

I'm still amazed how much better the handling is with just this simple part. I think Bilstein shocks will be next up in the suspension department. The ride is definitely too soft for my tastes.

Is an SCT tune worth it on a stock Jeep?

I've been trying to read up on Flyin' Ryan Performances' SCT tunes. I have a completely stock 4.7 H.O. in my Jeep and I'm wondering if a tune would be worth doing? The only other mod I'm...

Re: Just ordered Addco RSB

I bought it through Amazon and paid just shy of $140. I used their free standard shipping and had it at my door the day after I ordered it. If you hate not being able to get on the gas until you're...

Re: Just ordered Addco RSB

You'll be very pleased if you add this sway bar. The rear end wiggle really bothered me too. Anytime I went over a bump the whole Jeep felt unstable, but now it is much tighter.

I was able to get the new sway bar on this morning and took it for a test drive. I am amazed how much more solid the Jeep feels now with just this simple part. It feels more solid over bumps, stays...

Re: Just ordered Addco RSB

That's what I want to hear!

I only got the one for the rear. From what I've seen on the forum is that the rear gives the most benefit. Would you recommend doing the front as well?

Just ordered Addco RSB

Well after reading so many good things about it and not feeling very confident taking a lot of highway on/off ramps at any kind of speed I went ahead and ordered the Addco sway bar. It should be...

Part #'s are:

24-029643 for the rears.

I plan on getting the Bilsteins when it's time for new shocks and I've done some looking around online for the best price. It...

Re: Can't get my wj outta 4lo?

The owner's manual recommends having the transmission in drive and while coasting at 2-3 mph move the transfer case shifter from 4-lo to neutral and then into 4-all time.

When the Jeep is in...

Re: Rubber mats in the storage bins?

Yes, both the cubby hole and area in front of the shifters should each have a rubber mat in them. I have an 04 as well and both areas have one.

Re: 02 4.7 Throttle position sensor

I just replaced mine with a BWD piece from Pep Boys that was about $30. So I'd think that the Mopar piece should be about the same or a little more.

I would double check all your connections to your coils for the spark plugs. Also, I'd go a step further and make sure all the spark plugs are torqued. If it wasn't running this rough beforehand,...
