Re: Searching for song on HDD - No "A-Z" option?

My only thought - and this is nothing but a shot in the dark - but instead of having subfolders, put all the folders in the root of the USB.

I'm not sure why this should affect searching for...

Re: Searching for song on HDD - No "A-Z" option?

Maybe I missed it, but can you explain exactly how you are transferring the files? Are you creating a folder on your USB drive for each album or artist? Or do you have all your songs in one large...

Re: Got Key Fob to open Flipper Glass

I should have followed up with a little tidbit... we got short-changed a keyfob at the time of delivery so the dealer finally ordered one. What should arrive but a fob with all the buttons (Panic,...

Re: 2011 overland headlights

It's a lot easier to make a one size fits all standard rather than try to account for some guy who drives in the middle of nowhere with no other vehicles around.

And if I'm not mistaken U.S....

Re: 2011 overland headlights

I'd definitely be curious to see that study, especially since most other studies say the opposite.

The only problem I have with DRL is on vehicles that don't have totally automatic lights, and...

Re: What options on your GC did you discover weeks after?

I think unless it's broken the turn signal is always "lockable" - the newer models just have the extra "quick turn signal" where the signal flashes a few times if you lift up or pull down just enough...

Re: Navigation Map Display Quality 730/430

It's unfortunate but the 730 and the 430 are each only half good, or maybe even 3/4 good. The 730 seems to have a higher resolution, the split screen, dead reckoning, and a few other pros. The...

Re: 430N Alaska

I'm not sure what parts of Alaska aren't covered (very rural/wilderness areas I'm guessing) but any urban area seems to be well covered.

I can say that Canada likewise is very well covered. Any...

Probably unfair on my part, but reading just the subject line alone my thought was "Yes!". Not to say there aren't some good dealership service centers out there, but in my experience they are few...

Re: Stainless Steel Mesh Grill Insert Install

A little off topic - but is that a camera or sensor I see on the passenger side, behind the mesh? I've noticed the same thing on my Overland that has the FCW but wasn't sure what it was for. I had...

Re: Add "Trail Rated" Badge to GC Limited?

I'd say if Jeep doesn't consider your vehicle trail rated and you haven't modded it to make up for its stock shortcomings why bother adding it. You might as well put a HEMI badge on the V6.

Re: Rain Sensing Wipers

Assuming you have rain-sensing wipers, correct. They need to be at least in the first detent in order to start if your windshield starts getting wet.

Similarly, if you have the auto-high beams...

Jeep itself is Helen. Full name: Helen Wheels.

GPS is Betty. Most pilots (and wannabe pilots like myself) will probably get the reference.

Re: Am I the only one that things the gauges are hard to see during the day?

Re: Remote Start Comfort System

I agree - although it would be nice if there was just a quick cheat sheet to say what comes on at what temperature, since it seems the temperature dictates what comes on.

Re: Keyless N Go Fob question

That's it exactly. The only reason the "finger in the hole" trick works is because the fob must be nearby. Try it again with the fob nowhere near the vehicle and I'm sure nothing will happen.
