the idatalink box is a factory immobilizer. you have to have one if you want to do anything that has to do with the ignition. so like for a remote start or keyless entry system you have to have one...

put in the new starter today and pulled out the old plugs. i cranked it over to see if anything would come and. dont think anything did. installed the new plugs and it fired right up but ran rough...

where should the ground be on the block or on the heads and i think if i remember correctly on my original 4.7 there was two grounds near the back of the block

i pulled the same thing on the codes. are those the o2 sensors. and on the gen 1 4.7 where is the crankshaft position sensor i will check and call jeep tomorrow on one.

i believe something is just disengaging because it only tries to turn it for a quick second. and i have checked all connections over and over the only thing not connected is the cruise control module...

My old one. When i bought the new used 4.7 it was just the block heads and intake. So i swapped the water pump, fan assembly, alternator, a/c condensor, air intake, wire harness, and pcm from the old...

everything works great both inside the vehicle and out. all lights stereo and everything come on great even tried jumpin it. and yea it was it is a brand new from les schwab.

yea the lift only took about two hours to install and it was about 4-500 bucks. since it is just spacers it didnt change the handling or the way it drives at all

yes the motor is from a durango but the headers are as well. they are from jba. they clear everything on the driver side just fine but u need to dent the fire wall on the passenger side about three...
