Re: Rear SIDE defogger - issue ???

I don't believe a rear defogger/defrost on the side glass was an option.

Heated mirrors, and rear defrost only...

Re: Starting issue doesn't start after 2nd start up (video)

I'm sure the diagnostic test will reveal more.

I once had an old 1987 Ford Taurus that would not start after it was running and warmed up. Once it cooled down, it would be fine again.

Turned...

Re: No Heat - Drivers Side

Yes, that sounds like a blend door issue. It does seem to affect passenger side more often, but there is no reason the driver side would be immune.

Re: Transmission and Steering??

Unless there was some very, very, unlikely mixing between the transmission fluid radiator and the ps steering fluid radiator, I can't think of any place there would be the opportunity for debris from...

Re: Transmission and Steering??

Could the belt be slipping? That's where I would start.

Other than that, I would try taking the belt off and turning the pulley for the power steering with my hand to see what shape the bearing...

Re: Best WK Front Hub Replacement to Purchase?

I don't know where they are made, but I purchased two of the Timken about 45,000 miles ago and they have been fine.

Don't bother replacing just one...if one side is worn, the other is likely on...

A normal IOD draw usually ranges between 5 and 35 milliamperes. What are the values that you are reporting?

This may help trouble shooting if you do have an IOD issue:

Re: 05 gas cap light issue 5.7l 4x4 limited.

It takes a while for the code to reset on its own.

Your gas cap was probably loose, and would have reset on its own...disconnecting the battery just sped the process up a little bit.

The early models had a strict interval that is set via the Information Center. It could be set to a number of pre-set values.

Most importantly, I'm glad every one is safe! Another great example as to how much protection the WK seems to provide.

Re: Abrupt breaking hearing clacking in front end.

I would start by looking at the bushings on the sway bar where it mounts to the frame, as well as the sway bar end link bushings.

Checking the front differential bushings could also be worthwhile.
