New battery with correct voltage, 3.29 vdc, did not fix the buttons not working problem. Tried cleaning the contacts, verifying that all contacts were making and still no luck.

Well its gotten worse, now my fob is not recognized by the vehicle so if I want to drive our GC I have to borrow my wife's key. I guess I'm going to have to see the dealer; what a bummer...

Cleaning contacts with electronics parts cleaner did no good. I measured the fab battery voltage and it was good but I went ahead and replaced it with a new one which I measured voltage on before...
