Re: Batttery

On attached page you will find the exact battery specifications. Just be aware that the positive battery post on American build jeeps is opposite to the European build jeeps (no idea why).

Re: Bogging down around 4-5k

Do you have the feeling that the misfire counter is counting real misfires? It uses the crank signal to determine misfires, so a not well working CPS could eventually cause misfire codes or even real...

Re: I need help

Welcome to the garage.
Seems that your idle control is not working well. Remove the IAC (idle air control) stepper motor from the throttle body and clean the plunjer and the complete air canal. Do...

Re: Broken tube

The part is the PCV valve (positive crankcase ventilation) and its very easy to change. In fact it should be checked/changed regulary, since the PCV system is very important to prevent the formation...

The T-case is just bolted to the transmission and has no other fixation.
The front upper control arm bushings (4x) are all the same. The one on top of the diff is easy to remove, but the one which...

Re: Rear SIDE defogger - issue ???

I do think that your suppost window heater is in fact the integrated radio antenna. It is only on one side, isnīt it? This is also the case on the European build WJīs.

Re: Power steering pump overhaul

You can buy a power steering pump repair kit, with a bearing and all seals. Quite cheap, so i think its worth a try. The power steering pump pulley is not reusable, so you will have to put that into...

The connector is inside the jeep, so normally splashing water from the road should not do a thing.

See first post, already changed external fuel filter and plugs.
Also, a too low fuel pressure would be compensated with a larger fuel injector pulse, which will show in the LTFT figures.
Maybe it...

Re: 1996 Cherokee Sport, all in the family!

Welcome to the garage.
Is it really water leaking and no coolant from a leaking heater core?
Could also be condensation water from the HVAC housing or a plugged HVAC housing drain.
