Re: RF Keyfob Shields

Check your owner's manual. You can lock the fob in the car with three button presses - BUT TAKE THE MECHANICAL KEY WITH YOU AND SECURE IT AS APPROPRIATE.

Re: Cołor brake calipers

Think about a nice gray as a transition from the shiny/blingy discs and the black/black/black. Black/Gray carbon fiber?

Re: Using Remote Start Smart Phone App ?

+1 This is like a "valet" feature. The vehicle can be driven away and parked without the FOB inside, but once shut off, then the FOB in the vehicle is required to drive away again after UCONNECT or...

Re: Screw/nail in tire

Double ditto. Over the years, I've had three tires with similar punctures... permanently fixed from the inside. IMHO the pull through plug is a temporary repair only. If a tire manufacturer and...

I have NAV + Sirrius, and changed my stick to Shark Fin. Works fine - no issues.

Re: 2015 Cherokee Limited at 1000 Miles

I just purchased a {non-Jeep} that has ESS. It's disconcerting at first. Frankly, it does NOT interfere with my normal driving style - amazing how fast and smoothly it restarts. After a few...

Re: How's the 15 Cherokee and what's expected for 16?

Sand is a tricky surface. It can be very hard - and easy to walk, bike and drive. OTOH, it can be very soft and extremely hard to walk, impossible to bike and very hard on a vehicle. I've hiked...

Re: How's the 15 Cherokee and what's expected for 16?

So far the '14 Trailhawk is a competent off road vehicle, and holds up. It's NOT ready for the real aggressive trails that you may have traversed in your Wrangler.

Re: US probes complaints that Jeep SUVs brake for no reason

It's annoying that the park sense chimes for proximity in the front even when the vehicle is in reverse....and vice versa. Who decided that?

Re: US probes complaints that Jeep SUVs brake for no reason

I'm not surprised by this. It makes the hair stand up on the back of my neck with the auto brake operates - EVIC warning and chime. It's happened to me several times:

(1) going around a...

Re: 2014 Cherokee - Starting by Itself

IIRC, UConnect remote start only runs the vehicle for 15 minutes. So if the vehicle was running for a long time, then it's more likely a FOB related start issue if it's an electrical problem.

Re: Sport Mode

Indeed. Sport mode is more like a Street Racing mode....perhaps programmed by the SRT guys. I would prefer a Sport mode - not quite so aggressive.
