Re: What options on your GC did you discover weeks after?

The state-aware door locks are new for me. All of my previous Jeeps would blindly actuate the door locks/solenoids when a switch or the fob was used. In the WK2 they only actuate when they need to....

Re: Electrical Burning Smell

I doubt that it was a passing car if both of you noticed it as you explained. Under no circumstance should anything within the cabin be heating to the point that it produces a burning odor, IF it is...

Re: How to make GC 7 seats ?

Howdy! I don't see how this could be possible. Go out to your WK2, open the rear hatch, get in, with your legs crossed, and shut the hatch. I wish you good luck.. I, personally, do not even begin...

Re: how to reboot RHR?

The correct fuse is M12 in the TIPM.

Well, there you go. :) I'm glad it's working for you. I think you can trust that the Flash install was fully successful and you're good to go.

Re: Softwareupdate with USB2 Stick its works!!!!!

You'd know because...you had installed it.

Are you saying that you had already installed 2.120 via DVD and then installed it again via flash drive?

I am misreading your question. ???

Re: Software Updates to the RHR

I wouldn't be surprised. I've mentioned it somewhere before, but I don't have the RKE/driver memory features in my vehicle and I have never had a single 730N settings/memory issue whatsoever....

Re: Softwareupdate with USB2 Stick its works!!!!!

If the update didn't require changes to the user database definition then it would have no reason to clear/reset any user data. Like Corp Cog pointed out, you can verify your system version under...

Re: What options on your GC did you discover weeks after?

It was days until I noticed the cool light projector on the ceiling console that illuminates the control panel and center console in green. That's sweet. Never had that before.

Re: 430n with Lockpick V4 installed but no Ipod Video?

I believe there is a specific LockPick that will handle iPod video directly, over the iPod connector, but someone else will have to weigh in on that. As you know, your v4 only accepts composite...

Re: Loud Click When Operating Heat Features

Relay? It probably controls the main current to any active heating elements. Maybe you got a loud one; can probably be replaced very easily.

Interesting that HDD playback is cutting the playback short - it is probably a bug in the scheduler that manages the playlist/queue. Or, if it's a buggy rights protection thing, apparently it doesn't...

Re: What car are you dumping to make room for your WK2?

Traded in my 2000 WJ 4.0L with 170,000 miles and a broken driver's seat bracket. Transmission needed to be rebuilt, so it was time to recover whatever I could!

Re: Blue screen and now touch screen doesn't work

The first thing the dealer tech will try is a hard (power) reboot the 730N. You can possibly save yourself the trip and the time by trying this yourself.
