Re: HID Kit Killed Passenger Headlight

After hours of research and just staring at the thing completely dumbfounded, I wondered if the brights would come on on the passenger side, so I tried that. Sure enough, they worked. However, I...

HID Kit Killed Passenger Headlight

I have a 2013 JGC with halogen headlamps that I "upgraded" to HID using a relay kit and anti-flicker cancelers. It all worked for a little while. Then, intermittently, the lights would go out and...

Re: Rocky Road Outfitters WK2 Leveling Kit

Ask RRO to be sure, but I am sure it would be the same kit. The spacers go above the struts and that should be the same for yours. It will just be a whole lot easier for you with 2WD!

Re: Mopar Hood Decal

One thing I wanted to add. I run this through the automatic car wash (with brushes) almost daily for months now and have had absolutely no problems with the decal. Now the plasti-dip on my chrome...

Re: Mopar Hood Decal

For me, getting it lined up wasn't difficult and there are plenty of places on the hood that indicate that you have it right. Moving it around once you have it up there is easy enough, also. Just...

Re: Mopar Hood Decal

You're welcome. Yes, I agree. Black would be better with cherry red!

Re: Mopar Hood Decal

The only color on the actual decal is black. The white is just my paint showing thru, and that's including the Jeep letters. The black looked glossy at first, but I would say after the second day, it...

Mopar Hood Decal

I have always been the worst ever at applying any type of stickers or decals to anything, but actually pulled off a good job on this! It's actually on straight and all the bubbles are out!

Re: Rocky Road Outfitters WK2 Leveling Kit

It looks like to me that the 275/65/18's will rub a little regardless of the offset, at least in duratracs. I'm not sure if a closer to stock 30 offset would make things worse or not, but I can't...

Re: The official Wheel thread

How many of those 408 were actually helpful and not trolling activity like this?

Re: The official Wheel thread

I'm wondering why he was on the "official wheel thread" if the idea of changing them doesn't appeal to him. Trolling, perhaps? Those types should just be ignored. He had nothing useful to contribute...

Re: The official Wheel thread

I'm sure that's a much better setup. I really wish I could have gone with 17's, too.

Re: Rocky Road Outfitters WK2 Leveling Kit

Yeah, I did have to bend back the pinch welds completely and pinned the felt back with extra rivets in the front and back sides of the front wheel wells. It helped, but did not eliminate occasional...

Re: The official Wheel thread

I think with the leveling kit, 31.5 would be much better. The rubbing is not bad by any means and I doubt it will cause a problem. I could probably remove the felt and never hear it again, but the...

Re: Rocky Road Outfitters WK2 Leveling Kit

Thanks! Yes, the 275/65/18's will rub slightly at times. I don't think they stick out too far, but you can throw rocks and debris into the sides. It gets dirty a lot more easily. I love the look,...

Re: The official Wheel thread

I am now noticing rubbing during slight turns and when going over larger humps and dips in the road.

Re: Rocky Road Outfitters WK2 Leveling Kit

I have the leveling kit and have 275/65R18 duratracs with 10 offset rims and get some rubbing in slight turns and on going over bigger humps and dips in the road even without turning. 48873

Re: The official Wheel thread

RRO Leveling kit with American Outlaw Regulators, 18x9, 10 offset, 5x127, and Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac 275/65R18's. Loving them and have noticed no rubbing. I'm betting the Nitto's would have...

Re: Rocky Road Outfitters WK2 Leveling Kit

I have never posted before, so this may land in completely the wrong place. I just got my leveling kit installed and it was $270, which was 3 hours labor and did not include an alignment. I'm...
