With mine I bought a hex key that was the right size (cant remember now) and cut it down to about 1" piece then used a wrench to turn the hex if that makes sense...that way i didnt have to remove...

Just changed to synthetic oil for the first time, looking forward to see if I notice any change. Went with Mobil 1 oil & filter, planning on changing again at 5,000 miles

Just picked up a new 3 ton floor jack and it has me questioning my jack stands. I currently have a pair of 2 tons stands, are they safe or do I need 3-4 ton? Are they rated as a pair or individually?...

I dont think it is the trans, mine literally exploded about 5k ago (including the torque converter) and it is still there....

I dont think that is a good deal at all, for that price is should have closer to 70-90k in my opinion. Check cars.com, it will give you a good idea of what similar vehicles are going for

Sucks you are still having issues, keep us updated...I have a feeling it is a PCM issue that was never fixed since this seems to be fairly common

My trans blew up at the tune of $3100 6 months after I bought my Jeep AND I completed all 60k maintenance after I bought it, so I dont want to hear it! You really have had minor issues.

If you just bought it and you dont have the service history just do yourself a favor and give the Jeep a full tune up (plugs, all fluids, air filter, etc) That is likely your MPG issue

I did just order a bored TB from Flyin Ryan maybe that will help!
