Re: srt8 exhaust comversiona GC overland

That notch looks great. I thought I heard that ceramic coatings on catalytic converters will roast the internals and cause damage. On a normal jeep grand cherokee there is ample space between that...

Re: srt8 exhaust comversiona GC overland

Re: srt8 exhaust comversiona GC overland

Keep the muffler.... A dual exhaust system of that size is almost too much pipe for a stock 5.7. It will be plenty loud enough and the back pressure will make it run a thousand times better. Plus,...

Re: srt8 exhaust comversiona GC overland

Make the notch as deep and wide as possible.

If you have the mid pipes, good luck with them! I could never get them to fit properly on my AWD. The transmission pan and transmission support will...

Re: CATs Gone Bad

The cheaper magnaflow cats are for "off road" and may cause the check engine light to go on. The other ones are also high flow, but have higher quality catalysts. I have no experience with either one.

Re: Sounds like a destroyed bearing?

If it is coming from a bad pcv valve just replace it for $25. Twist and pull out. Make sure that the hoses are tight and not cracked. Other than that its tough to say. Could be just about anything....

Transfer Case NV245 issues- the CLUNK!

Well, for starters I had the dreaded front differential bushings clunking since around 40k miles. I finally changed them at 95k and the top bushing was dried and cracked. At this time I also changed...

Re: Jeep grand cherokee srt8 srt 6.1l hemi exhaust manifolds

Ok, I'm back. The 545rfe pan sits much lower and has a bulge in the pan where the spin on filter sits--- for 4wd versions. The nag1 pan is very shallow, flat and squarish. When I tried installing the...
