Re: 2015 Overland... tranny blown

Definitely ask for extension of powertrain warranty, or if you plan on keeping the car long term try to get Chrysler to give you some sort of concession towards purchasing a lifetime bumper to bumper...

Re: Just filled up with Off Road Diesel

You're worrying too much about this man...there is not way someone is going to want to check the diesel in your Jeep. The local authorities probably wouldn't even be able to pick out a diesel GC...

Re: 2015 Tahoe????? No thanks! WAY overpriced compared to grand cherokee or durango

I agree that the Tahoe doesn't look good. The Yukon Denali drove looked pretty sharp, and I like the way the new Escalade looks (although that is an entirely different price point). The short ones...

Re: 2015 Tahoe????? No thanks! WAY overpriced compared to grand cherokee or durango

I actually test drove a New Yukon Denali and I personally find it to be a better vehicle than the JGC in a few departments. It is much more comfortable, and the drivetrain is more refined than the...

Re: New Wagoneer List of Demands

Thats good news! Hopefully they add forced induction to the pentastar as well to make that engine competitive with the competition. I think the 3.6 would be a little weak for a vehicle heavier than...

Re: New Wagoneer List of Demands

Are they going to be more competitive with the powertrains on the GW? A 6.4L will get even worse fuel economy than the current 5.7L Hemi (which is underpowered relative to the fuel economy). Jeep...

Re: Changes for 2015?

It is actually very different when you start using the aluminum for load bearing parts. Aluminum parts need to be fastened with adhesives and rivets rather than being welded. It takes a lot of...

Re: Changes for 2015?

I don't think Jeep will move to Aluminum in the upcoming generation. Chrysler does not have any experience with building Aluminum cars, and I doubt they would experiment with one of their cash cows....
