Matt, not to sound combative but I am aware what a relay is. The small unit at the lower right end of the screen is the relay. I purchased it from ebay...

the set up is a plug and play so I didn't have to ground anything myself. even the relays are plug and play. I've tried plugging them in in different ways but when I do that the lights don't go on at...

I have one on my 2006 Limited through the alarm system. I don't have any problems with it. I didn't do the install but I do remember the installer complaining that the install was a pain in the rear....

I haven't added any chrome since I'm really not much of a chrome guy either. Just whatever came stock on the truck (i.e. side molding, window trim & chrome stock wheels)

Shockingly when I picked the truck up from getting it serviced (got the service 4 wheel drive light) the lights turned on. I'm wondering if the flickering may have triggered a code in the ECU causing...

Thanks for the quick reply. The kit is a straight plug & play so I didn't have to actually ground any wires. I haven't been able to check the wiring yet b/c I brought the truck for service early this...
