Re: What did you do to your WK today?

Actually got a chance to work on the WK a bit this weekend.

First was the pinch weld mod. I only did the driver’s side as it was the only one rubbing but it was a bit of an adventure. I first...

Re: take a pic of your truck/car/boat/ride right now!!!

Looks like the Overland/SRT grille, possibly painted black. Looks like mine, but mine looks kinda grey now.

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

Over the weekend my fiancé made a comment while reading through the paper that caught me by surprise. I had mentioned a while back (and again over Christmas) that I kinda wish I would have held out...

Re: Lower Control Arm Bolts stuck.

Let us know if you get the bolts out and how much damage they took before coming out. I'm assuming you're talking about the bolt that holds the bottom of the strut assembly fork. Mine are rusted...

Re: 2005 wk limited lift kits?

I would go with 1.5" at the max. I have those and they stick out so that the tread surface of the tire sits about .25" outside of the fender, and the side wall sticks out even futher than that. If...

Re: jeep wk lift

There's basically three different levels of lift. 1) Budget boost - quite a few options, gets you high enough to fit roughly 32" tires, usually can run you about $400 in parts 2) OME lift - little...

Re: Lift Install - Chicago

Where in Chicago are you? I'm out in Aurora and had a small local shop do my front end of my lift for me because I couldn't get the struts out at home. I'll be going back to them soon to have them...

Re: Bad reception with pioneer aftermarket radio

The problem is that the antenna lead isn't powered, aka, the signal isn't amplified. I recently installed a Pioneer double din unit and have the same problem. Talking to an audio installer, you need...

I was looking at running the modified OME with the rear pucks still installed. Still go with the MLL?

Mine did this to me about 2 months ago. Driving on the interstate and all electrical power was lost - headlights, interior lights, speedo needle, everything. It kicked back on after about .5-1 second...

Re: Would this work?

From my research, if those are the F-150 MLL’s then you will get a little bit of rake with this setup. As for the front, people will run the ¼” spacer on top of the strut tower assembly to level out...

I wish you would have done it in the light khaki to match the paint. I've been thinking about doing the exact same thing but don't know how it will look completely matched. Looks great though!
