Thanks, but that number is just part of the AustPost barcode/address system!

Still, guess what arrived in my letterbox today :-) More things to waive at the service department on Friday...

Re: Rear safety camera

Ick! That's what mine looked like at night (which is why I call it a crapcam). I posted a pic of the new one with lines on it already: Not perfect, but leaves the original for dead. Push to get...

Not sure about why those wires are joined! I can check on my wiring if you like, but that won't be tonight...

One suggestion: Make really sure that your jumper wire is electrically connected. ...

Not tonight. I already spent too long removing the tailgate panel and taking pictures of connectors. Then I forgot to plug the connector back in and had to take the <beep> panel off again. <Grrr>

Yes - confusing. I've arranged with my dealer to check the status of the "XAC" sales code in DealerCONNECT when I go in for my service on Friday. We'll see if this is the cause.

Did you have...

Interesting... Only postulating, but perhaps the UConnect s/w reactivates it because there's no active line signal. Who knows what 'logic' some of these s/w engineers put in...

Re: Rear safety camera

There is NO option (on Laredo) to turn off the lines via any option in the UConnect settings.

Re: Rear safety camera

Cam Pin 4 is in the tailgate.

IP 2 Connector Pin 27 is by the passenger (LHS) door hinge.

Neither connections require pulling the head unit out.

Brief enough?

Re: Is DPF issue for 2014 CRD fixed now?

New cam vs. crap cam: The difference is enormous (and it actually works during the night), but I still suspect that a FHD cam would look even better on that 8.4" display - even if its only taking a...
