Re: **JEEPGARAGE EXCLUSIVE! Launch Control tips & Facts! Raise and lower RPM's

Just did a run using this. Set rpm's to 2500, 21C/70F ambient temp, 1/3 tank of super premium gas, no spare tyre, skipped lunch, tyres pumped to 34 psi. Engine and tyres warmed up.

0-100 kph...

Re: What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

Cool

I finally installed my PhillySRT lower grill badge. Too easy by popping the 'camera eye' surround off but recommend this being a father-son project especially if your son has small arms and...

Re: What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

De-Badged the front end and FatMat'd the HK Subwoofer enclosure.

Looks great without the Jeep on the hood and sounds just a bit better.

For those interested in wrapping the enclosure, it's a...

Re: Dash vinyl wrapped

Looks great!! Without seeing this post, I was researching this just this week contemplating either 3M 1080 Brushed Steel or Brushed Black Steel. Glad to see someone put the hard yards in for the rest...

Re: From the horses mouth on the Harman Kardon System

How much data does streaming Spotify or Pandora through your phone use? We don't get any apps for the Jeep in Australia, except SRT, so I wouldn't mind trying this.

Re: From the horses mouth on the Harman Kardon System

My HK system EQ retains it's settings and there is a noticeable difference when you turn surround sound on as it's brighter and spread out. I've been leaving mine off lately. I'd definitely check...

What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

Pulled a 4.7 secs 0-100kph time twice tonight. Good runs with the new Injen CAI without interruptions from baby strollers and Commodores. Tank 25% full @ 25 degree C. Very happy even though I...

Re: Srt Conversion!

Pretty cool. The 4x4 ness of a Overland and the looks of an SRT. The Summit grill insets are a nice tough. I like it. You may get a few people in Camaros and BMWs want to have a go though.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

Nice. I had to laugh when a hand comes out the window to show you hitting the switch.

Great sound. Can see a lot of people getting this over the badass GT Haus due to price.

Re: Power Fold Mirrors

I'm going to ask our engineer at work to find a way to have the Export mirrors fold in automatically when the ignition turns off. I'm sure it's simple but I'm too lazy and too busy to figure it out...

Re: what would you change on the 2014 Jeep SRT?

*Export model: Folding mirrors fold in when car turns off. Maybe CLStech can do something for us :
*All lights color matched. Looks weird when fog lights, DRLs and normal beams are different.
*Full...

Re: Sound system: Summit vs. Overland

For the HK system I would say dump the speakers and keep the rest. Just to start with. I'm sure some high efficiency speakers should slot in quite nicely except for the front 6x9s that should be...

Great idea. It think it might be better to just buy some generic ones and have them laser etched. I'll look into it and possibly a group buy.

Re: Still can't decide: Overland or BMW X3

I'm not sure where German cars got this reliability reputation from especially when you have Japanese cars to compare them to. It must have come from the '70s and '80s when they were compared to...
