I just finished 1700 miles with a V8 from Texas to New England. I tended to use ACC, and have it set at 80 most of the way. It returned about 19 mpg over the whole trip.

Re: Question about Sport Mode.

I have found that it does affect MPG if you are in the city with a lot of stopping and starting. Also helps here in Texas with 20 MPH school zones. I find that when I'm not in sport, the gearing...

I know they are in Dallas, and I think they are in Houston too. Check out Wheel Doctor. Usually about $100/wheel. When I was in the wholesale car biz, we used to use them a lot. Amazing results.

I've done the same thing as arvindm. I plug in my iPhone 4s, it switches to AUX-USB. I just press AUX and choose Bluetooth instead. Works well.

Re: V-6 or V-8, regrets?

I can't say I really regret getting the 5.7L. When I want the power it's there, and I like it. However, it has been quite an adjustment in MPG. My commute has 0% highway and lots of lights and stop...

Re: Huper Optik, Suntek CXP or 3M Premium

Re: Huper Optik, Suntek CXP or 3M Premium

Most defiantly. All of their stuff is 99% rejection of all the UV bands.

My local tint place has this little display thing they built to test tint. It has about 15 4" x 4" pieces of glass that...

Re: Weak seat heaters/coolers?

I'm with Rustyosaurus. They aren't bad, but the heat could be quicker to heat and cover the seat better. My heat is adequate on high, but by no means as warm as my wife's BMW or my previous Mini.

Re: What grade of gas are you usin(g and do you feel the diff?

I would love the Harmon Karden system that's in my wife's BMW. I don't find the GC's unlistenable, but it isn't fabulous either.

To answer the OP, I have Bass set to +1, Mid 0, Treb +4.

I found the difference.

With a V6 OFR2 is $275 on an Overland.
With a V8 OFR2 is $995 on an Overland.
With a V8 OFR2 is $275 on an Overland Summit.

Probably because only the V8 gets the ELSD.
