It's only the radius that is different, a five minute fix with an angle grinder is all that is needed.

Try the link below for info on chrome sidesteps. I have the same tubular sidesteps as Snuke, bought them off ebay, fairly easy to fit, allow about 2hrs for fitting.

Snuke here is a pic of chrome side steps with my gate resting against them showing a gap of of approx 2 inches for protection from wayward doors.

Hi Snuke, will try and get you pic from the front later today. They do stick out quite a bit and should offer some protection from wayward doors, that is the main reason I fitted these myself.

Fatboy, my p3 is in the cubby and the door closes with no problems, still have access to manual override and there is still plenty of room for my iPod touch and all media points still accessible.

Also check the heat shielding on the right side of the sump. I had the rattle that sounded like it was behind the radio, but while I was under the car fitting side steps I noticed heat shielding...

Thanks John for the info. Couldn't try my wdh today as have leant it a friend. Hopefully have it back by the weekend and get to work with a bit of grinding to make it fit the mopar receiver.
