I think you mean locking front hubs. As an "old school Jeeper", I find the WK2 very capable and a hell of a lot more comfortable than a jacked up CJ-7!

Lot of rain here this week. Telluride to Ouray is probably three to four hours. Ophir pass is quick and easy and if you stay in Silverton, you can head over Engineer or Cinnemin(sp?) to Lake City.

Re: 2014 Summit with trailering package & no brake controler?

I'm using the DirectLink brake controller that is pricey at $350, but it ties into the CPU of the GC and works better than anything I've used in the last 20 years. It is proportional. I'm towing a...

Re: 4x2 or 4x4 for family camping? no trailer

Depends on where you live. For instance, I doubt if you could even buy a 4X2 in Colorado. Resale has to be taken into consideration and a 4x4 will be worth more in Colorado than it would be in LA.

It's hard to determine the frontal area on a trailer as more and more units are designed to be aerodynamic. The Airstream is a good example, as is the trailer in Willx's photos.
