Re: New Steering I shaft ordered

They don't do recalls unless they are forced to. Go to this Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 - 2011-2016 Grand Cherokee Service Bulletins and Recalls (http://www.wk2jeeps.com/wk2_tsb.htm) and look for...

Re: DRL Burned/discolored sockets

I have exactly the same and have seen it on lots of other GCs. I have complained numerous times to two different dealers but the reply is that Jeep Australia does not cover it on warranty. Some other...

Re: 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee po304 code

Have a look at this tread: http://www.jeepgarage.org/f73/cylinder-head-problems-67551.html
I got a new cylinder head at 44000 km as the engine was running rough and there was a loss of compression...

Re: 2011 Overland Rear Suspension Thump Saga Continues--What else could it be?

:oI suppose it is the same issue as described in this thread: http://www.jeepgarage.org/f107/rear-bump-feel-when-accelerating-42770.html

Personally I have given up after two years of complaints...

Re: Quadralift lifting while driving

In the first year of my 2011, it often lifted to OR1 when the car was started. That was after it had been parked in Auto ride height. About 10 times it has lifted from Auto to OR1 while driving at...

Re: Has the steering wheel thud returned?

Finally after many visits to dealerships, I got a new shaft installed today. Didn't drive much yet but so far there hasn't been any thumps. This time the new shaft has a colored dot on the edge of...

Re: Rear bump feel when accelerating

My dealer (his chief mechanic) had another look at my GC and confirmed that TSB 21-003-13 was installed correctly. Since I have now had it for a while I can confirm that the bumps are not gone as I...

Re: WK2 Bullbar spotted in Sydney

Looking at the Uneek drawing it certainly gets rid of the air dam. I think we need a photo to see if it actually protects what's behind.

Re: Japanese Jeep? (unfolding mirrors)

You fold the mirrors so as not to hit them against anything, that is why they should not unfold by themselves unless you are starting to drive in traffic. Common sense is that they will be damaged if...

It seems to do it randomly, although never if you try to make it do it! I generally only fold the mirrors after switching off the engine, and it only happens if the mirrors have been folded for a...

I don't want a bullbar, actually I hate bullbars, BUT I had a mad Emu taking a very fast and decisive run to intercept my Jeep, and it did, costing a new headlight and more!

Cool Japanese Jeep? (unfolding mirrors)

Is my GC the only one in Australia with side mirrors folding out sometimes when starting the car? Or is it just that nobody ever fold the mirrors in the first place?

I see Jeep has a TSB 08-011-13...

Re: Rear bump feel when accelerating

Wow, I just saw this. The TSB 21-003-13 / 21-004-13 may solve both the "bowling ball in the trunk" bump during acceleration and the sand issue! It would make a huge difference to me if I got those...

557 hours (at ca. 22000 km, 40 km/h). Considering I have done maybe 10000 km on long fast trips it really says something about Sydney traffic speed.

I say $51000 for my Laredo and then ask them if they can think of any better value (and they can't here in Australia).
