Re: 2014 Air Ride Rough at OR2 height

There are threads regarding this. Its an air ride suspension when inflated to get lift it rides stiff. My wifes 2012 Overland is the same. We wheeled it on a bunch of trails and roads in Sedona a...

Re: Sedona Trails for stock without QL

We did soldiers Pass and Broken Arrow (Except the stairs) in April 2012 in the the Wifes GC. Overland with QL and ELSD. Just had to be careful not to scratch it as it was less than 2 months old. Got...

Re: Future for the Trailhawk?

If I remember right you considered your stock Jeep with OEM tires and no lift heavily modified which is wrong by anyone's thinking. Buy whatever you want and call it whatever you want. My wife's...

Re: Future for the Trailhawk?

Funny thing with the special editions. All that nasty red that was on the 2013 is what people wanted to get rid of. As for not wanting to use it, do you think it's value is going to increase? It's a...

Re: Can You Change Tire Sizes on Summit 4x4?

I wouldn't put differant sized tires on the front than the back on an all wheel drive. There's lots of people running larger than OEM though. These are 275/55/20 GY Silent Armor.

Re: Anyone? Spacers on the 17's?

Spidertrax doesn't make them for a WK2, there is another out fit on here people are using though. Defiantly don't use cheepo E bay junk for your own sake and others.

Re: 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk

Heavily modified means one thing. Stock tires and no lift isn't heavily modified by any definition. Thanks for clearing that up.

Re: 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk

I'm not following your heavy modifications. You're saying your Rubicon is heavily modified and you're running 32" tires? What else did you do? We'ed all like to see a Trailhawk II available from the...

Re: New ARB Compressor Install WK2

They don't make enough volume for air tools. It'll inflate the 37s on my JK from 8-30psi in about 3 minutes each. Use gloves to disconnect as that coupler is hot after use.

Re: New ARB Compressor Install WK2

Did you get an inflater kit with it, I'm not seeing a quick coupler. I have an ARB compressor on my JK for the air lockers.

Re: Frustated by MOPAR supply chain/Rock Rails

3M makes good industrial grip tape for stairs and landings, I used it on my Teraflex rock sliders on my JK. It's been on there over 4 years.

Re: Frustated by MOPAR supply chain/Rock Rails

That's to bad. I've been waiting to see how it turned out. Many of the installs by non-master techs on this and the other forum were 6hrs or less. Mine included. They shouldn't scratch on wood...

Re: Frustated by MOPAR supply chain/Rock Rails

Re: 275/65/r20??

If you go to RimsNTiires they have a calculator. It shows those as a 34" tire. Without mods those are to big, people have issues with 33s.

Re: Mopar Rock Rails for 2014 JGC?

Lots of people have them. As for availability read WXChasers post in the tech tips on availability, he waited around 4 months to get them. I put them on my wife's Overland last May.

KM2s are always short, a 35" KM2 is the same as a 33" in other brands.

Re: Rocky road lift kit, 285/75/17 terra grapplers

Are you serious? It's easy to figure out the percentage difference between OEM tire size and what he's running. There's enough odometer checks on highways to check it or go to the rimsntires website...

Re: Frustated by MOPAR supply chain/Rock Rails

It took at least 2 months to get mine, I got them in May. Way up here in Canada. They seem to be getting popular. Maybe not as much as the shark fin but still in demand.

Re: I Want Spacers

You probably need 1.25 - 1.50" wheel spacer thickness. The wheel studs on the GC are quite long.

Re: Oversize Spare Tire??

A P255/70/18 is within 1/10" of a p275/55/20. These are stock tires on Jeep Wrangler Saharas and are for sale very cheep because nearly everyone upgrades to larger tires.

Re: Anybody tow a toy hauler?

It'll pull it, at about 12mpg. As soon as you're in tow haul mode these things get thirsty. We pulled our 18' Aerolite to Jasper last September, it's around 3700-3800lbs depending how loaded it is...

Re: So embarrassing...

If you could spin them in high, low range won't help you any. Slight touch on the brakes as said above may have helped, it's hard to think of when you're stuck though.

Re: 255/70/r18 Bridgestones off JK Sahara....fit 18" Laredo X

They'll fit your rims but they're not great tires. If they were there wouldn't be as many available for as cheap as they go. I got rid of mine ASAP in 2007 off my JK. They'll always be a cheap...
