Re: No water in block

Any sweet smell to the exhaust fumes and/or white smoke from the exhaust? Could be a head gasket leaking, causing the coolant to be burnt of. Also check the engine oil on dipstick and oil filler neck...

Re: What is this for?

Are you sure about this? Eventhough it was a testcase from jeep and it was incorporated on a showmodel on a 2004 motorshow in Europe, it most probably was never used in any series model. The...

Re: Shock change

Most of the guys seem to like the Bilstein shocks. I had Monroe Reflex, but they only lasted less then 50K km and where shot. I have now KYB gas-a-just and iīm very happy with them. These are mono...

Re: 07 grand cherokee rear wipers won't work

I believe that many sgandard two or three arms pullers will do. Just take your jeep to a shop and try to fit it.

Re: 07 grand cherokee rear wipers won't work

The wiper motor must have an internal short then. To remove the wiper arm there are special pullers for it. The wiper arm normally fits very tight and is a pain to remove without a puller. When iīm...

Re: 07 grand cherokee rear wipers won't work

It is normally a good idea to disconnect the negative battery terminal when working on the electrical system, but in this case, for removing the connector from the rear wiper motor, its not really...

Re: Whining Noise

If it makes the noise directly after starting (so no driving yet), then obviously it canīt be the T-case. Low power steering fluid can make the pump start whining.

Re: 07 grand cherokee rear wipers won't work

The junction block is where sits fuse 22 for the rear wiper. There is no other fuse in the circuit after fuse 22. So you could remove the rear wiper motor relay, but the change that the short is in...

Since the noise is there while driving, i would expect to get some noise when the rear prop shaft is removed, or from the t-case, or from the diff. You maybe have to push the accelerator a bit to...

The P0138 code itself...

Re: What in the starting problem? Wife is leaving over this! LOL

This most probably means that the relay which is now in the blower motor position has some problems. I would put a new relay on that position.

Re: 04 gc 4.0l mpg

It is always good to check the O2 sensors. If you have a scanner which shows live data, check then the 1-1 and 2-1 sensors (upstream sensors). The voltage from those should go from 0.2-0.8 V and...

Re: Possible to set mileage in replacement instrument cluster to ACTUAL mileage?

The most simple way is to take it to the stealer, they can change the milage using the DRBIII scanner. The milage can only be changed to higher numbers and not to lower, so that should work for you....

Power steering fluid is at the right level? If so, then I would remove the acessory belt and check the pulleys for bad bearings. Also spin the alternator and power steering pump to check for noise.

Re: 2007 Jeep GCk Lmt Jolts as 2 gears at once

Re: Cruise Control takes off WOT

I would expect a servo solenoid failure to be setting a fault code in the PCM. Not familiar with the WK myself, but on the WJ we can see the faults doing the key dance.
