Hi buddy. Sorry for the tardy reply but although I'm not too familiar with the 3.7, my first thought is a dead oxygen sensor on one bank.

The symptoms don't sound like an engine running well besides having a valve issue.
A V8 with only one burnt valve wouldn't drive drastically different to a healthy engine.
