I have only used clay bar so no experience with the pad but, what I have read is that they tend to leave very minor scratches. That is usually not a concern for many detailers because the next step...

What I have found in my research so far Jim is that steel has memory so will tend to go back to the original shape and aluminum does not. So what I got from that was, when I was younger I was like...

Anyone had dents removed from hood? I have read that aluminum is more difficult that steel for paintless dent work. I have like 4 or 5 that I need done.

I usually spray with Simple Green and let it soak then spray again and hit everything with a med stiffness brush. then I wash it down with the hose sprayer.

I have not noticed a MPG savings in Sport mode. I have used it around town but, on the freeway I like the ride quality better in Auto.
