Re: How easy is it to replace upper control arms?

Funny you think those parts are heavy! My roommate ordered a set of UCA's for his Sierra 1500 and we got the parts the same day. My UCA's look miniature compared to his and weigh about 1/2 as much!...

Re: How easy is it to replace upper control arms?

Nope, bought the MOOG UCA's complete with the Problem-Solver ball joints so I wouldn't have to screw with a press. They were each only $75ish shipped from RockAuto. I'm excited to have the zerk...

Re: How easy is it to replace upper control arms?

Got in all my MOOG parts last night. They look pretty beefy! I just have to run to HF to get the plastic rivets and rivet gun and I'll be ready for the work to begin!

God, I hate those Raptors! There are a disproportionate amount of them here in CoMo too! There are 5 in this small area! A local dealer must've closed those POS's out or something!

I'll...

Nope, I just bought a set of outers. I've never replaced the inner set on any vehicle, so I didn't grab them this time either. If the combination of these 3 part replacement on each side doesn't...

I'm going to be doing this in the next couple of weeks. Ordered Moog UCA's with ball joints, Moog front end links, and Moog, Tie Rod Ends, all of which are OEM and I've got about 120k on the clock....
