Re: WK2 DownUnder

"...rowing the caravan." Obviously a typo but if you were on the east coast right now, it would be quite appropriate.:)

Yes the figures don't add up. My guess is that the axle load relates...

Re: Jeep service costs

I would think it's miles accurate enough. I wasn't aware that temperature was an issue in refilling but I'd guess it's taking account of expansion of the gearbox case.

Re: Jeep service costs

These days technology is so good and maintenance so bad that stats are showing most failures occur shortly after maintenance events. Just watch Air Crash Investigations. Most of you would have had...

Maybe but I doubt if any Jeep dealer would have the brains to know what he was looking for.

Re: WK2 DownUnder

My MY12 manual lists the Gross Axle Weight Rating as:
Front: 1,452kg
Rear: 1,678kg
That's to be taken as both front wheels together and both rear wheels together as it would readout on a...

It looks like Bill has got himself a great design team. The photos particularly the one of his new MY14 is top pro add photography. I like the attention to detail like tidying up that boxy sensor...

Re: CRD oil on special

The Mopar filters are made by the Italian filter manufacturer Ufi Filters spa. They operate a plant in China where the filters for the CRD are made.

Re: Anyone tuned a CRD yet?

I asked Bluespark a question about the function of 0-9 dial. This is their reply,

You are correct, 0 returns to stock performance 9 is the maximum application of the curve. It is non...

It ticks all the boxes except Chrysler's. This is more than can be said for what some dealers are offering. I'd have no hesitation is using it. Attached is the spec sheet.

Re: CRD oil on special

Sox,
I can't find Liqui Moly 5w20AA but the Liqui Moly site recommends Liqui Moly TOP TEC 4200 5W-30 for the 3L CRD. The problem with this oil is that it doesn't have Chrysler approval MS-11106. ...

I presume you've checked the ball weight. Water tank/s full or empty may change things. Half full may cause sloshing to and fro.
