As soon as you hit an extreme off-camber position, that tire will catch the fender and screw up your tire. You're also looking at rubbing the pinchweld up front. These things have to be modified to...

Sometimes when you shave weight on a tire, you can compromise the strength of the tire... ply strength anyway. When you do decide to look for a 285.. I'm not sure what kind of wheeling ya'll do......

Trying to do a little bit of research here. Looking to see how many other 3.7L WK's and XK's there are that are currently running 285/70r17 tires or larger.
