I believe the bread crumbs feature is the soft button in the bottom right corner of the nav screen.

"Breadcrumbs" are known as "trails" in the newer manuals. The trail button is in the lower right corner of the map when you are looking at the full map screen.

Jeep has an app for Android with the Grand Cherokee user manual. Very nice as it is easier to read by section versus paging through a pdf. Search Jeep on the market place.
