Hmmm...I guess I had a certain price point in mind and was happy with the features of the unit I got. Like you I had a Pierce Simpson 20 years ago and I wanted to avoid all the dial twiddling...

For the recovery hook I used a jack called James. He's 16 and talks a bit too much...
