My 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 47,500 miles has a leaking transmission cooler. Chrysler uses a combination transmission AC condensor cooler. They don't consider this a covered item under the...

Seats on 2014 Overland

The seats on my 2011 overland are very hard. Is there anyone with a 2011 and a 2014 that can give a comparison? Are they any more comfortable on the 2014?

Odor from heating vents

I'm having the same problem I had with my Chrysler 300M. The heat vents put out a mild odor which smells faintly like burning leaves. It must be due to mold build-up from the warmer weather. ...

Re: Passenger seat rattle

I had an undiagnosed rattle for a long time. I finally found it to be the seat belt latch on the side of the passenger seat. If the latch is too far forward, the plastic latch rattles against the...

They have since redesigned the seat back. They just got a new one in for me. I'll report back about whether Jeep has solved the problem.

Re: AWFUL rattle under seat or center console.

Try buckling the passenger seat belt and see if it still rattles. That solved it for me after two trips to the dealer.

Re: passenger seat noise

I had the same rattle. They fixed the passenger seat bushings under the TSB. That didn't help. I finally discovered the answer. It appears to be the seat belt push buckle rubbing against the...

Re: Accleration in the v8 vs v6

Flashy09-Depending on where you are there is a jeep dealer near Bay harbor on U.S. 31. You can check them all out. I have a V6 and I would say if you are doing any towing, go with the hemi.

The TSB talked about the seat cushion being lose and moving from side to side. I didn't think mine was but they fixed it anyhow. I think it is a way for dealers to make money from Chrysler. The...

I took mine in for a seat rattle. They replaced the bushings on the passenger side in accordance with the TSB. The TSB talks about a squeek so I was skeptical. Sure enough, it did not solve the...

Re: Sirius Travel Link 430N

Bibowles-When was your Jeep built? If it was built by January 22, 2011 and not one of the 930 vehicles, then my previous analysis appears to be correct.

Re: How accurate is your estimated delivery date?

The estimated delivery date can change. After mine was shipped to Maryland, it sat for a week. The date was moved up by a few days. They then beat the new estimated delivery date by one day.

Re: UConnect problems with HTC Droid Incredible

I am using the 430N. It's sad that a $75 Blue Ant Bluetooth performs better than the one in my Jeep. It connects faster and can do more. Other than that, i love my V6 Overland.

Re: Gas milage? Post your results!

Re: Any concerns about leather dash in Overland?

The jeep owners manual says that the leather doesn't need any treatment. Why would they say that if conditioners were helpful?

Re: Dealer prep/inspect/clean

I don't think the outside has plastic on the roof. They just gave it a quick wash and let me see it before it was detailed since it was getting dark. It had bird poop all over the roof.
