Re: So...Rechargeable Flashlight + Xtra Storage = No Spare Rim?

Another reason for a matching spare is the "5" tire rotation. For those who say a spare is just that, think about it. If you leave the spare under or in the car for years it becomes rotten and or...

Re: White Gold and Natural Green coming to an end?

As of yesterday, 3/8/2011, White Gold was no longer available for order in the chrysler system. I know this for a fact since I went to place an order for a WG Summit and ran into the same problem at...

Re: 5.7 L ECO quesstion

Which four shut down doesn't really make a difference. Whether it's the same four or alternating. The firing of the cylinder is the only difference in wear essentially.

All of the pistons are...

Re: Bad steering wheel, good service

I think you are both correct. The wheel has looked a little funny in those two areas since I took delivery, but I didn't want to knit pick. No big deal, now that it has a true problem with the...

Bad steering wheel, good service

I've had my overland almost 3 months. I'm the only person who has driven it since taking delivery. I wear no rings or jewelry on my hands, only a wrist watch.

Today I noticed on the steering...

Re: Did my 1st Oil Change on 3.6L today

[QUOTE=blackpepper;334075]Congrats, the canister design sounds convenient.

The 5.7 takes 8 quarts.

Re: 4wd vs 2wd

They are "both" 4 wheel independent suspension. There should be no perceptible ride difference. Gone are the days when a 4 wheel drive grand Cherokee was a solid front axle and would ride a little...

Yes, I know skid plates are the answer. That's why I ordered them and installed them myself. I truly don't foresee anything contacting "my" oilpan. I just thought it odd for the change, probably for...

Another cost cutting measure

While working under my JGC today I noticed that the Hemi in these units is equiped with a synthetic and /or plastic oil pan.

This must be a cost cutting measure as the Hemi in my Charger Daytona...

Re: Daytime running lights

I believe that it's a DOT thing. Turnsignal sits almost atop the running light, therefore the running light would possibly obscure the blinking signal. Safety issue if the DRL doesn't turn off to...

Try deleteing your phone from the uconnect and then re-pairing it. This happened to me once and the delete-re-pair cured it. The problem hasn't happened again.
