Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee SRT8 - Features & Changes

Usually manufacturers charge EXTRA for the alcantara seats, but Jeep is doing the opposite . And over a grand at that. What the hell are they using? Chinchilla leather? :p Curious to see...

Re: Beware of wheel seller Direct Performance (eBay ID: direct)

Hey folks, I'm over the 'WKII SRT' forum, but I'm around the site :D.

Those creeps added those photos after my complaints. They might or might not be what you get. If they are in the wheel...

Beware of wheel seller Direct Performance (eBay ID: direct)

Hi folks. Just want to warn you that those aholes burned me with fake SRT wheels with an identical auction like this on eBay:

Re: 3 Season Tires

I think it's ridiculous to even offer a freaking 4x4 SUV with summer tires. I have a set for sale with the Pirelli Scorpion Verde tires, which should be the only tire available. Folks, keep in mind...

Re: Eibach group buy?

It was $220, sorry. Edited my post already. Now they're $260 shipped. It was the best price I got. And the only lowering springs available for the SRT. Borla is also the only exhaust available for it.

Re: Eibach group buy?

Just got the Eibachs and Borlas installed. Bought them from AutoAnything for $220 shipped, if I remember correctly. They had them on sale too. Dealer Mopar shop charged me $369 to install the Borlas,...

Re: drop springs......

Thanks a lot man. I already ordered the spring this afternoon, and looks like I did pretty good: $282 shipped, from AutoAnything. And they had them in stock.

Re: drop springs......

GREAT NEWS!!! Just hung up with Mopar, and no date or even an estimate, so probably not going to happen IMO. THey've been 'releasing' them since April.

Will research Eibach right now. Could you...

Was going to start a new thread, but found this one. It was never updated, so hopefully we can get an update from Scott (or somebody else). It's been months.

By the way, just checked H&R and they...

Re: What's the deal with the half-a$$ SRT exhaust valves???

Hope you're right because just ordered it :D. By the way, the system is back-ordered even by Borla until October, but found TWO systems at a super price of $699 shipped. Since I just bought one,...

Re: What's the deal with the half-a$$ SRT exhaust valves???

Thanks man. Sounds good. By the way, the xxxx6 system is the less aggressive 'S', and the xxxx7 is the 'ATAK', which you have.

My other concern with Borlas that I forgot was FIT. Tips never...

Re: What's the deal with the half-a$$ SRT exhaust valves???

Any pics? And how about a vid? I've bought Borla in the past, and all 3 times they droned like a 'MoFo', so haven't bought again. But if you're saying it drones nothing, then something must have...

Re: Looking for a dead pedal to match the others. Are there any available?

Not me :D. I personally wouldn't like the parking brake pedal to attract attention to itself, so it's fine with me the way it is. But I can see the attraction if it matches the other pedals. To me,...

Re: Looking for a dead pedal to match the others. Are there any available?

Nope. SRT doesn't even have that; just the freaking carpet. Totally unacceptable IMO.

Re: Pirelli P-Zero tread life

Indeed. The P-Zeros are 'max summer', the second highest (softest) performance compound, and on a heavy beast like the SRT, we'll be lucky to see 15K miles. The Scorpion Verdes are 'ultra high...

Re: Looking for a dead pedal to match the others. Are there any available?

Thanks a lot Scott. I've ordered pedals from them before, but didn't think they'd match the SRT pedals closely. Will check their site, as well as another one that might be a better match, and cheaper...

What's the deal with the half-a$$ SRT exhaust valves???

Some of you might not know there's a valve on each side of the exhaust, right by the differential. How did I find out? Blipped the throttle just to see how the exhaust sounded with the door open, and...

It actually sounds better IMO. Have both in the garage, and at least personally, I like more the refined sound of the HEMI vs the 'motorboat' one of the LSx engine. Inside the car they're similar,...

Re: Want to replace both chromed rear parts. Please jump in if you can help.

Tried that on the Overland, but shops here don't know how to do that properly on chromed plastic. Vinyl wrap was equally disastrous.

Want to replace both chromed rear parts. Please jump in if you can help.

Hi gang. SRT is in the garage, and first order of business was to remove the hood's 'Jeep' letters, 'Grand Cherokee' side letters, and rear 'SRT8' badge. Looks MUCH better that way, but it's a matter...
