Re: WJ Overland-is the a brush guard that allows you to keep the front tow hooks?

Lol. So far I simply cannot find a grill guard that lets me keep the front hooks. It seems that it is either one or the other. Not interested in aftermarket bumpers either, which makes the search a...

Cool Have a grill guard? Post pics here, I need ideas!

So I have basically come to the conclusion that I will be getting rid of my hooks in front so that I can get some sort of grill guard. Not going to do the whole bumper thing, just something that is...

Re: WJ Overland-is the a brush guard that allows you to keep the front tow hooks?

Yeah, I have done the same with my old XJ. Saved it from a deer twice, but no good for recovery. This is why this is such a hard find because I really don't want to get an entirely new bumper...has...

Re: WJ Overland-is the a brush guard that allows you to keep the front tow hooks?

And yes, if it would basically bend in easy that is kinda pointless to I guess. Hmmm...

Re: WJ Overland-is the a brush guard that allows you to keep the front tow hooks?

Hmmm...thanks for the info so far guys! I email them and asked why it would only fit an '04 so I'll let you know what they say. I really love the front hooks so there has to be something out there...

Re: WJ Overland-is the a brush guard that allows you to keep the front tow hooks?

Ok, so I found one. Looks like a UK company. Don't know if anyone knows anything about them. But this is basically what I'm looking for.
Otherwise, I have also thought of a bull bar, because many...

Re: WJ Overland-is the a brush guard that allows you to keep the front tow hooks?

Cool. The Westin one must be tougher than my Waag one then, because I have gotten stuck in my XJ (w/the Waag guard) and in pulling me out we tied a rope around the bottom bar. All it did though was...

Re: WJ Overland-is the a brush guard that allows you to keep the front tow hooks?

I do like the safari bar, but its just not for me out here in deer country.

In the past the brush guard I had on my XJ saved the vehicle from some pretty violent hits. That was a WAAG brush...

Re: I'm new here and looking for some advice

ilirdino,

Hi, I have planning on modding my new 02 WJ a bit (previously had a 99 XJ) and have been thinking hard about what kind of brush guard to get.

Yours looks awesome and may actually be...

Re: WJ Overland-is the a brush guard that allows you to keep the front tow hooks?

Hmmm...not so much the safari bars but I do like that idea of the low mounting point.

Another idea is maybe someone knows of a brush guard that will still let me mount the hooks-maybe just facing...

Question WJ Overland-is the a brush guard that allows you to keep the front tow hooks?

Hi everyone,

I know this is an exhaustive question but I'm still having trouble and thought I'd would ask for myself-and more directly than some others have.

I have a 2002 WJ Overland. I want a...
