I havent had a chance to do much......I work too much!

Like I said earlier....I dont know how to test if its the lockpick or the mygig unit....because I have to unplug both

maybe if I take it...

also, my black box doesnt have the little usb port for updating......does that mean I have v2???

I cant live with a dead optima battery!! lol

If I dont get this resolved soon, Ill just toss in a Pioneer and sell the mygig

yeah, I hear the mygig fan running while the car is off, but once I open the doors....the fan shuts down.....so maybe it is the lockpick pulling power?

the nav2go and the coastaltech boxes look exactly the same.......just different decals on the black box

mine has no decal at all

I unplugged the factory harness from the lockpick and my battery has been working fine for 3 days!

but, I still cant trouble shoot if its the mygig or the lockpick because there is no way to plug...

so, how can I check the lockpick? should I wire it a certain way to shut off???

I ordered the 3 update discs off ebay bc I didnt want to mess with it

it was the clockfix 2.499

then I added the 2nd disc, 2.403

I NEVER had issues with the ccfl tubes.....other than a once a year blown inverter.....but that was easily fixed!!

this led thing is garbage!

and the money they charge on top of it KNOWING they...

yes!! It is a "ring" bump

shave that down with the dremel sanding stone............dont worry, you will never see any cuts/grinds/scratches once the projector and shroud are installed

IIRC, there a small humps on the inside too (cant remember if it was the 9005 and 9006 hole or just the 9005 hole)

they dont look like much, but it might be just enough to give you a few more...

take the projector out and take a picture of the inside reflector bowl

I highly doubt your projector stalk can be that much shorter than mine

something is holding yours...

maybe take the dremel and a circular sanding stone and try to countersink the inside hole??

as long as you get it really tight (BUT NOT BEFORE YOU DO YOUR FINAL ADJUSTMENTS), it should be fine

try to put the rubber washer on the inside.........between the stalk and the projector bowl!!

i did it that way to prevent metal on metal rubbing

doesnt streak!!!!
