Parking Brake Not Working

Noticed today on my 2014 limited that the parking brake wouldn't hold the vehicle on my driveways slight incline in neutral or obviously reverse. Anyone else have this issue?

Re: My first recovery didn't go so well

If you come out, contact me, we can be recovery buddies.

But, try to make it out when it's not monsoon season. There's still plenty of water to ford through :)

Re: My first recovery didn't go so well

Tires are new stock Michelins, but they have always been adequate. I've actually forded that area where I got stuck numerous times, but recent rains must have changed the landscape a little bit. For...

Re: My first recovery didn't go so well

My tow strap doesn't have hooks. Due to the recovery location, we tried to double up with someone else's because we needed the length. To make matters worse, a storm was forming and we were in a...

My first recovery didn't go so well

Tonight my baby is by herself, out in the Arizona wilderness, in the middle of a narrow deserted canyon, and high centered in mud in a foot of water. She won't be free until tomorrow morning...

Re: The 2014 Grand Cherokee is quite capable off-road

I have in other places. Often do it on the trail if needed. Clearance is deceivingly adequate most of the time.

The first three are Harquahala Mountain in Salome, AZ. Second two are in Box Canyon in Wickenburg AZ. The remainder are trails off of Table Mesa Road and Castle Hot Springs Road in New River, AZ,...

Re: Anybody mess with dealer with uconnect app?

They are done servicing it. It'll sit there until next Tuesday. Was just kidding. I'd never do it while it was being worked on for fear of deafening a tech.

I have no idea what lulz is either.

Anybody mess with dealer with uconnect app?

My car is at the dealer being serviced in one state. I'm across the county. I think I might send some panic commands to the car while it's in service. Maybe they'll think the cars possessed.

Some justifications are:
1. Fun to drive
2. Safe
3. Towing
4. Can take it where most factory SUVs can't go
5. Feels good to be higher up than in an accord
6. You work hard, you deserve it

Not bad. You are talking higher than standard gas mileage on some older Jeeps while towing with your new one. Impressed.

Re: Your opinion of Hill Descent Control?

I've used the HDC numerous times on trails in Arizona. It's especially handy when you are on rougher downhill terrain and your foot might get bounced off of the break pedal otherwise.
