Re: Optimum TIre Pressue 265/ 60 /18 LTX MS2

Been running the LTX/MS and MS2 for a couple decades at 37-38.
I personally prefer 37-38 cold, but someone here noted they preferred 38 front and 36 rear... and I'll agree with them after trying...

Re: Smaller Tire Width for Winter?

Unless the logjam has busted in the 20 inch size range, I'd suggest 18 inch wheels and snows for winter mainly due to the larger variety of tires and treads available last year in the 18 size. They...

Re: Switching to Synthetic Oil in High Mileage Engine

First mistake was Jiffy Lube. Don't your local dealers have express lanes at the same price points?

You MAY be able to recover something from Jiffy Lube, where a lawyer in your area familiar...

Re: V8s- Which gas do you use?

The owners manual indicates octane range of 87 to 89 and further that the use of premium is not recommended, as it will not provide any benefit over regular gasoline in these engines.

Re: Average of days for side collision repairs

A good body shop will do its best to get all the parts available before they have you bring in your vehicle. If this is possible, a week is about typical.

I've used them, which included trips across Donner pass, Echo Summit, Carson pass over the Sierras. They are quite surprisingly good, plus much quieter than some aggressive treads. They are also...

Re: 2015 Grand Cherokee - V-8 Or V-6 ??

You really need to drive both on roads representative of where you will be driving.
Get similarly equipped models and when testing don't worry about 4x4 vs 4x2 as long as both are the same.

Low range is for pulling/towing power at LOW speeds. If the snow is ever deep enough that you would need low range to get thru, seriously consider taking the snowmobile, dogsled, etc.
