Re: Push button start continuous crank

Mine (2011 5.7) started out with a crank-but-no-fire once every few months. When it got to a once-every-few-days thing, I took it to the dealer. It turned out to be a fuel pump relay. Service guy...

Re: Mileage problem!?!?

MSWLOGO was on the right track. Your dealer is probably 532 miles (+-) away from the factory in Detroit where the Nav was set. The Nav read the movement of the transporter.

Re: DIY: Hemi 5.7L Spark Plug Change

Great write up! I changed my plugs at 32,000 today. The tool list was perfect. Also did the cabin air filter and engine air filter. Just for Jeeps delivered in a timely manner and the price was...

Same here. Welcome to the club! Had the switch assembly replaced under warranty and haven't had a problem since.

Re: Road Trip Over 3 Hours in Heat

I drove from Phoenix to L.A. two wees ago in temps as high as 118 and as low as 113. The AC was ice cold the entire trip. Take yours back to the dealer. Something is wrong and they need to fix it....

Re: Engine Fails To Start

I had a crank-but-no-start issue. The car was low on gas, and I thought it might be a bad reading on the gauge. Just out of curiosity, I opened the gas cap. That released the vacuum that had built...

Re: 2012 Flipper Switch Access

I had my '11 Overland Summit in the dealer for the same issue last week. They replaced the switch and the entire chrome piece... They said this was done because it could only be ordered as one unit?...

Re: Overland Summit leather issues

Just had my seat cushion cover replaced too. 10,000 miles and it looked like hell. Dealer tried to make me feel like they were doing me a HUGE favor... Because it was a "wear item". The new cover...

Re: Alarm just went off???

Same here. Alarm went off several times for no reason. Had my March 2011 build JGC reflashed at the dealer and it has not happened again.

Re: New seat cover- Summit

I've had "cheap auto parts store" seat covers that fit better than that. No piping, no color match, and I don't see the perforated leather. This is what it should look like.

Re: Now That's Just Weird

I have it too... i thought it might be a rock in the tread, but it wasn't. Maybe a rear wheel bearing? I will have to wait until it gets louder to figure it out.

Re: RHR issues / Warranty errors

My RHR froze twice today and did it twice a couple of weeks ago. Turning it off did nothing. The screen stayed on... Even when I opened the screen to access the CD. It finally reset itself, but...

Re: What Color is your WK2?

Until this Jeep, every new car I've ever bought was black. When I saw the Rugged Brown in person, I had to have it. Finding one left on a lot was hard to do at the end of the MY, but my dealer was...

Re: HEMI real life mpg on WK2

Most of my driving is city (85-90%) and I'm "enjoying" the Hemi... which is why I'm averaging 12.7 on my most current tank (1500 miles). It gets the same mileage as my 2010 Town & Country 4.0 6...

Re: Hardcopy Owners Manuals

Got mine too. DVD makes no sense unless you have a laptop. I know it's cost savings, but I used to love sitting in a new car with the manual and reading/learning about all of its features.

Re: Help...front bumper wanted...any ideas?

All of the Chrysler concepts are built at Metalcrafters in Fountain Valley, Ca. To make that bumper, they formed it in clay, pulled a mold, and made the part out of fiberglass. Not sure if it's two...
