Re: What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

I agree with Scott. I must have tried all the brands for wheel cleaners & protectants over the years, but I was never satisfied. I became a happy camper when I changed to ceramic pads on my '06...

Re: Smaller Tire Width for Winter?

I've had narrower winter tires on my Charger SRT8 & currently run the stock size 295/45/R20 winter tires on my Jeep SRT8. To be honest, I haven't really noticed a difference in winter driving, both...

Re: 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee TrackHawk w/6.2l SC???

I think Jeep should just re-program the 'Panic' button on the current key fob for the all out performance mode. It would save money having one key fob for both modes & it's probably how most...

Re: Replacement tire comments requested.

I replaced my P Zeros with Toyo Proxes last Spring. Ride & handling are great. They're about an inch narrower in thread width, than the Pirellis. I had Falken tires on my Overland. Tread wear &...

Re: Nitrogen in tires from factory?

You could be right. I just assumed (and you should never assume :D) that they came that way from the factory since the sticker was there when I picked them up. Just out of interest, I'll check the...

12" of snow ... no worries!

We got dumped on last night with 12" of drifting snow. I took my Jeep out this morning to get gas for our snow blower. The Jeep with Pirelli Scorpions handled to snow great. I was a little...

Re: battery problems

Here's some more food for thought.

I had a dead battery on my 2011 GC Overland. Apparently, the battery was drained by a computer glitch. The computer thought the back hatch was open (it wasn't)...

Re: Small oil stains after my service

Sometimes when the old oil is drained during an oil change, some of the old oil spills onto the plastic pan under the engine. This could be the oil dripping from the pan onto your floor.

Re: Winter tires?

I bought a set of Pirelli Scorpions & replica wheels last fall. I ran them all winter & they performed very well on both ice & snow. The Scorpions are the same size physically as the stock P-zero...

Re: What's under my back seat?

Mystery solved!

Checked the parts manual at my dealer today. The Insulatio-Side Panel is a plug for the subwoofer speaker opening located in the right side quarter panel in the cargo area....

Re: Bring on the snow.

It looks like we're finally getting some Spring-like weather. I gave the Jeep a thorough cleaning and once-over to see how it survived the winter.

Here's a few observations;

- The replica...

Re: SRT replica wheels

I have grey painted replica wheels for my winter combo. Although I haven't used them off road, they're standing up well in the salt & sand on our snow covered roads.

Here's a pic (the replica...

Re: SRT-8 wrapped in Gold Chrome

Yup! Taste is in the eye of the beholder. A mother & her young son walked by me when I was taking the pic, & said it looked like a big hot wheels car.

Bring on the snow.

I'm ready! :brows:

My new winter wheels & tires were installed today. Pirelli Scorpion Snow & Ice and replica wheels (same size as stock). I decided not to get run flats, and I'm pretty...

Brembo Red Touch Up Paint

Many of us have experienced the dreaded paint chip damage to our Brembo calipers. I had it on my Charger SRT8, and I already have a couple of chips on my Jeep GC SRT8.

Searching the Internet for...

Re: Dreaded Tire Decision! Halp!

Although not an SUV, I had both Toyos (winter) and Yokohama Spec-X (summer) on my '06 Charger SRT8. At the time, other than the stock Goodyears, I could only buy SUV tires as replacements. The...

Potential problem - suggest you check yours ...

I was under the rear end of my GC painting the rusty exhaust brackets and flanges yesterday. I found what could be a potential problem in the left rear corner.

Re: 3 Month Update

Thanks for the offer, but I already have a replacement set.
