Re: 2011 JGC Brake Lights don't come on with ignition off?

My 11 and another 11 GC that I worked on both do not light the brake lights with ignition off either. I haven't tested beyond that. I haven't had a ton of DUI clients in GC's yet! I install DUI...

Re: 2011 Jeep GC driver A/C problem

I just did this repair myself on my 2011 GC and took a bunch of pix so I will do a write up. It was super simple and my dealership had the gear in stock. Cost me a whopping $3.69 and some time out of...

Re: 2nd row captains chairs

The rear GC seats are a 60/40 split so on one side you would have to create mounting points.

Re: I need some parking light wireing info for 2005 JGC

Ok the positive wires for the parking lights rest at ground so my diagram guide does not recommend using them. The negative side is mux. But there is a much easier way on GC's. I have owned an 05 and...

Re: Power steering out at park/stop

Having driven vehicles that have no power steering at all I can attest to the fact that once you are moving they are not difficult to steer. It is only at a stop that you have to use your muscles. If...

Re: just had to be towed. words of warning

Yeah BMW's electronic shifter is pretty much the same way. I don't see Jeep going away from that any time soon.

Re: 2011 DRL Replacement Issue

Please don't take this wrong because I did this when I did mine so this could be it. The DRL will only come on with the vehicle running and in Drive, Neutral, or Reverse. The will not come on if the...

Re: Start Engine button sticking... or not? - 2011 GC

Have you had the TIPM recall addressed on yours? It sounds like the problem that recall is meant to fix. The fuel pump relay wouldn't turn on. So the engine cranks over until it sees a fire. No fire...

Re: Panoroof shade not opening

I don't think the lack of replies are lack of interest. I would probably say it is more lack of knowledge in how the systems work. I have done automotive electronics for 20 years. Ranging from radio...

Re: Key FOB Went Through The Wash

Well first off your battery is going to be dead so you may as well take it apart to replace it. The first thing that will happen is the water will flash discharge the battery. That usually is what...

Re: Why did you choose Grand Cherokee

My 11 Limited Hemi is my 5th GC and 6th Jeep over all. I wanted this body style from the moment the TV ads started running for it. I had 2 WK's and 2 ZJ's. The WK always seems to be a smaller vehicle...

Re: JL stealth box 2015 summit problem

Most 20% tints should match up. Sungard is what is on mine and it matches pretty well. Is a hair lighter in the right light. The Viper brand tint, while is a cheaper tint, is darker too. May match...

Yeah I have noticed that too. A couple of guys on their SRT's have done the Eibach rears and their stock fronts to level. About all I can do is try it and see how it rides.

Re: Load leveling to non load leveling shocks

Ok yeah that makes sense. So my guess is I'm looking at both non load level shocks and drop springs at least on the rear. Maybe I could find just SRT rears and level it out.
