Re: Biggest 17" tires on stock wheels?

Well, I'm about a year late with the response, but might as well update this thread. I have about 27,000 miles on this setup. No rubbing, and I still have a lot of tread left.

Originally I had...

Re: Biggest 17" tires on stock wheels?

I chose the Toyo Open Country's because I use them year round in Boston. We had a foot of snow yesterday and I had zero issues, while most people stayed home or were stuck on the side of the road. ...

Re: Altitude wheels on Overland Summit?

That looks awesome! I like it better with the '14 grille and no chrome strip down the door.

Yes, please post pics of the real thing once they're installed.

I haven't been on here much lately. Right after I posted that last pic, I had catastrophic engine/trans failure in the '67. All my...

Re: 2012 WK2 Stereo Overhaul

Yeah, I actually went to their site to see if there was a better sub that I could buy to replace the 10W3v3-2 with, and that's when I saw that the sub was under warranty for 2 years from date of...

Re: 2012 WK2 Stereo Overhaul

One update to this thread is that I ended up blowing the Stealthbox. I wasn't even pushing it that hard at the time and it just started to flutter. I brought it back to the shop that did the...

Re: 2012 WK2 Stereo Overhaul

Sorry, I was out of the country for a few days and missed this.

This is the first install that I didn't do myself, and I haven't pulled the door panels off, so I'm not sure which adapter was used....

Re: 2012 WK2 Stereo Overhaul

The Alpine is great. Plenty of power to drive all the speakers. I have had great luck with Alpine amps, I have 3 of them in the '67.

The Laredo doesn't have a center channel or rear fill, so I...

Re: 20" Overland Tire Choice for quadralift

You might want to look into Toyo Open Country's as well. I've had them on my last two SUV's. They perform well and highway noise was minimal. They have the same tread pattern as the Nitto's with a...

Re: SRT Design GC coming soon?

Audi does something like this. They call it their S-Line. It's basically an appearance package for people who don't want to buy a true "S" car.

For example, you can get a plain old A4, or an A4...
