Re: The WJ Owner's Guide To Recommended Mods

How much wrap you need really depends on how much of the interior you want to do. Do you want to do just the trim pieces? Or the trim and dash bezels? If the latter, a 60" x 48" roll will be plenty.

Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

I've decided to give myself a mod budget of $1,500 on the Jeep as she's getting old. This will include an '04 front end conversion, possibly lowering springs, and CCFL headlights and LED tail lights.

Re: WJ Jeep Grand Cherokee Owners Social Group (Inquire to Join)

While he gave good advice and ideas, he was a very controversial fellow and he wasn't greeted very well by some members of the community. I suppose he got tired of it.

Hey y'all. This group was maintained by someone who no longer signs on here, so if it is 'invite only' you may not be able to join.

Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

Not nuts, just (painfully) sensible. Unfortunately I'm in the same boat. Love my Jeep but she's getting up there in age. I think I'm gonna go for a newer Challenger and demote the WJ to a rental car...

Re: Funny jeep movie

That's hilarious, thanks for posting this. It's a little odd that they used a ZJ in effects while he was driving a WJ. I'm sure it's because of budget reasons, but amusing nonetheless.

Re: New to your World. Please help

With 4" on short arms, you're really close to the edge. Your control arms are extending as far as their little hearts will go and your angles will be off. As such, the ride quality will suffer;...

I've been busy doing an engine swap and haven't had the time to do this, I'll probably get it done this weekend.

Re: Hope you guys hugged your Mom today

Sorry to hear about your mom man, that's really unfortunate. I pulled out all the stops today to show my mother how much I love her. Here's to moms, may they always be in our hearts, no matter what.

Re: Good News and Bad News....

Re: 01Grand finally gets HIDs and projectors!

Re: An Introductory Guide To Upgrading Your WJ's Interior Lighting To LED

Re: Opinion needed

That's a hard question for me to answer. A Liberty CRD is quite enticing, especially since it averages double the WJ's MPG. With a few mods on a Libby, they can do a lot more than many think....

I've been looking to do the same and it stays with the cluster it seems. You'd have to reprogram it to get the correct mileage.

Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

That looks about right, but my french is a little rusty. In any case, it's a smashing Jeep, close to where I hope for mine to end up. I like the stripes down the bonnet.

Re: OEM Fog Light Installation question

There's an OEM part that you sit the fog light housings in and it secures itself to your bumper. If you buy the whole Mopar kit it's supposed to come with it. I'm not sure if you can buy it...

Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

Great thread idea TJXJWJ! I've got to install the CB and antenna, order a lift (not sure which) and put my headlights back together. Hopefully all that will be done by this weekend.

Re: Gauge cluster upgrade

For the switches, probably 3 mm Component LED's from superbrightleds.com. For the gearshift, 2 LED strips laid over the current lighting as the gearshift lighting cannot be replaced w/ another color.
